About the Position
We are looking for a Strategy Intern intrigued by government, but just as interested in technology’s ability to shine light and provide visibility. Our Strategy Intern will leverage his or her skill-sets to conduct extensive research on a wide variety of topics and communicate it across the broader organization. The main motto for Strategy at FiscalNote is to contribute towards the highest leverage needs in the organization, and we are looking for a Strategy Intern to do so effectively.

You Will
Conduct research for multiple departments at FiscalNote, including competitive intelligence and market research to inform current and future product offerings
Create internal deliverables that synthesizes the research in order to communicate findings to the team
Aggregate information across the company and organize it so that it is more easily accessible
Learn about general business strategy and how it can be applied to FiscalNote
Attend relevant strategy meetings and keep notes to be distributed

You Have
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong critical thinking skills
A strong sense of accountability / ability to meet deadlines
A desire to learn more about policy and information services   
Demonstrated success in researching and analyzing information to draw logical and actionable insights  
A high level of self-motivation and willingness to go above and beyond with limited supervision
