About the Role
Armed with our industry-changing GRM platform, the Account Manager is responsible for growing their respective territory and account base as well as supporting their existing customers within the Federal marketplace. The Account Manager will look to position and sell the FiscalNote product suite into their accounts and target to meet/exceed their assigned quota.
 
You Will:
Manage high value, strategic, client relationships focused on developing new business and ensuring high retention rates
Develop acquisition strategies with Federal Buyers
Engage with customer executive leaders to discuss business relevant solutions and articulate product benefits and advantages relative to competitor offerings
Call at multiple levels within customer accounts managing executive relationships
Identify and properly qualify client prospects and business opportunities in the Federal Government based on Account Assignments
Develop and execute strategic enterprise account planning with sales and professional services team members
Extend FiscalNote existing footprint within existing accounts by selling additional products & services
Exhibit fluency in the identification and delivery of value at each stage of the customer decision-making process
End to End responsibility for customer presentations to include system demonstrations, proposals and quotes and overall account management and customer satisfaction
Review client requests for Proposals/Quotes (RFP/RFQ), Requests for Information (RFI) and Statements of Work (SOW) to structure content to be compliant, compelling, and highly rated by the client

You Have:
At least 5 years of direct sales experience with a deep understanding of the Federal Government as it relates to mission, function and governance.
Professional experience developing contracts and responding to RFI/RFPs
Knowledge and compliance of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is mandatory to navigate through the Federal landscape
Experience working in an account management/client success capacity with a SaaS product
High-performance record of sales and retention
Ability to successfully lead in-person meetings/demos with C-Suite level executives
Strong written and verbal communication abilities, as well as exceptional time & organizational skills
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Proficiency with Salesforce strongly preferred

You prefer data-driven insights rather than anecdotal evidence to drive your decisions and actions and are comfortable talking data, tech and current events.
